Breast lift surgery without implants is possible, but it may not give you the best results – or the ultimate look you want.
Breast lift surgery is used to raise the level of the NAC (nipple areolar complex), remove droopy skin, and restore perkiness to the breasts. Depending upon the degree of deflation present (from breast feeding, weight changes, aging, etc.), it may be possible to get a very aesthetically pleasing result without implants. For this to be the case, a woman must have adequate breast tissue left, not just excess skin and subcutaneous tissue. If a woman desires increased perkiness and/or fullness, an implants use can be warranted. There are differing opinions about which breast is the most aesthetically pleasing in regards to lift surgery (those with or those without an implant). In my opinion, in my hands, I feel using a conservatively sized implant along with the breast lift, offers the best looking breast and result. I am able to remove the dropping skin and elevate the existing breast tissue on top of the precisely placed implant for a youthful, perky, yet natural appearing breast.
